JIU JITSU LONGE DAS CAPITAIS - Jiu Jitsu away from the big cities

Escrevo sobre a nossa Arte Suave pensando em todos praticantes, e sempre com a intenção de fortalecer e divulgar essa arte marcial fantástica que abraçamos como filosofia de vida. Já recebi emails de pessoas relatando que após lerem alguns artigos reforçados por convites de amigos lutadores começaram a treinar e ficaram fissurados no Jiu Jitsu e contam todas as melhoras no corpo e na mente que essa luta acaba realizando.

   No artigo sobre Defesa Pessoal, um amigo o Mestre Leo Milward escreveu na minha página o seguinte: “quando será que teremos uma matéria do JJ no    interior?” essa frase foi como uma raspagem inesperada! O Jiu Jitsu é muito falado nas capitais brasileiras e nas principais capitais do mundo. Mas realmente o Jiu Jitsu está enraizado em todo o Brasil, e em quase todas as cidades no mundo. Tanto nas capitais como nos interiores temos excelentes professores realizando grandes trabalhos educacionais além de formar lutadores de expressão, saindo do eixo Rio – São Paulo. Acredito que se formos a qualquer cidade no interior do Brasil teremos um dojo para treinar. E professores que muitas vezes dão aula mais por amor ao Jiu Jitsu do que pelo retorno financeiro. Muitos campeonatos de Jiu Jitsu nas capitais têm suas fileiras engrossadas por lutadores que vêem do interior por meios próprios para competir, e voltam no mesmo dia, outros dormem em hotéis, casa de amigos. Faixas pretas em vontade e dedicação ao esporte. A força do Jiu Jitsu vistas em cidades longe das capitais é uma grata realidade. E que fomenta as vendas de quimonos, fightwear, revistas, campeonatos e realização de seminários para professores.    

   Pude perceber essa força de vontade em aprender Jiu Jitsu quando estive na Costa Rica dando seminários e uma galera local quando soube que eu dava aula de Jiu Jitsu me pediu umas aulas depois do surf, porque não tinham como treinar na academia da cidade e ficavam estudando via youtube. Na hora falei “claro!” no fim de tarde eles bateram na minha porta na pousada, eles simplesmente levaram placas de tatame para areia e treinamos na praia!  

Todos os professores das cidades longe das capitais são heróis porque levam o Jiu Jitsu a lugares mais distantes, como seus alunos também, ao viajarem horas para competir apesar do cansaço da viagem! Fica aqui a minha homenagem a todos os professores e praticantes longe das capitais ! Bons treinos! OSS!

Jiu Jitsu is widely spoken in the state capitals and major capitals of the world . But really Jiu Jitsu is rooted throughout Brazil , and in almost all cities in the world . Both in the capital and in the interior have excellent teachers doing great educational work besides forming fighters of expression , leaving the axis Rio - São Paulo . I believe if you go to any city in the interior of Brazil will have a dojo to train . And teachers often give more lesson for the love of Jiu Jitsu than financial return . Many Jiu Jitsu championships in capital cities have swelled their ranks by fighters who see the inside by themselves to compete , and return the same day , others sleep in hotels, homes of friends . Black bands on the will and dedication to the sport . The strength of Jiu Jitsu seen in cities away from the capital is a welcome reality. And it encourages sales of kimonos , fightwear , magazines , championships and seminars for teachers .

   I could see that willpower to learn Jiu Jitsu when I was in Costa Rica giving seminars and a local gang when he learned that I was teaching Jiu Jitsu asked me some lessons after surfing, because they could not train in the gym and the city were studying via youtube . At the time I said " of course! " In the late afternoon they knocked on my door at the inn , they simply took the mat boards for sand and trained at the beach!

All teachers in cities away from the capital are heroes because they take Jiu Jitsu to more distant places , as also his students when traveling hours to compete despite the fatigue of the journey ! Here is my tribute to all teachers and practitioners away from the capital ! Good training ! OSS !
